Miko is a cave and technical diver, an instructor at Global Underwater Explorers, and an affiliate instructor at Pro-Tech Philippines.

In addition to completing over 3,000 dives, Miko is an experienced underwater videographer and cameraman for a Philippine animal and ecosystem conservation television show. He is active in coral propagation activities around the Philippines with a team called OceanQuest.
