Maevin Anne “Maev” Espiritu

Maev joined Oceana in 2019 as an intern, and later as a project-based employee for the Stop Illegal Commercial Fishing in Municipal Waters Campaign, where she provided research and general support to the campaign manager.

In 2021, she joined the Campaign Research Department as Research Analyst where she works to provide technical support for all campaigns.​

 She graduated from Miriam College with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, Majoring in International Politics with a Minor in Peace Studies.  Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Management from the University of the Philippines Open University.​
