Alan reports 95% of his time to Marketing Communication at Oceana headquarters and 5% to Philippines office.​

A painter and an artist by heart, Alan stumbled upon design by accident 17 years ago. Coming from a studio arts background at the University of the Philippines, College of Fine Arts, he thought that his journey would lead him to the world of fine art making. As necessity dictated, he reluctantly traded his paint brushes and canvas for the computer. This paved the way for his career in graphic design and eventual love for this craft of visual problem solving.  ​

​Before joining Oceana, he has made numerous design contributions to published materials from ABS-CBN Publications, Ateneo School of Government, Department of Trade and Industry, Duty Free Philippines, USAid’s Ecofish, and Asian Development Bank.  ​

​On his off time, he enjoys dinning out with his wife and joyrides with his son. He also takes the time to pursue his art whenever he can. ​
